Healthy 75 – Spine and joints evaluation program

The older we get, the more concerned we become with our health. Recent studies show that the number of people with arthritis of major joints and spine will grow. While age is the main factor, lifestyle, weight and other factors contribute to this trend. At present joints are evaluate when patients start having significant symptoms but majority of people are unaware of the degree of their wear and tear. Generally they seek care when the arthritis progresses and starts manifesting with limitations in mobility or pain. However, as technology and testing progress, we can provide our patients with information on earlier stages of artritis and help guide them how to reduce further deterioration.

Bodhi offers a musculoskeletal disease assessment program for your spine and major joints. Furthermore, we offer a comprehensive prevention program to help you live your healthiest life. We will discuss with you the available guidelines for each of these tests and the risks and benefits of proceeding with them for people who fall outside those guidelines.

Our team—composed of experienced primary care physicians, a cardiologist, a gastroenterologist, women’s health providers, an endocrinologist, a nutritional consultant, and behavioral therapists, in collaboration with imaging centers—will provide you with detailed understanding of your body’s current state and help you adjust your lifestyle to increase your chances of living cancer- or heart disease-free for as long as possible. We focus on teaching good mental and physical health habits and practicing them daily.

Joint and Spine evaluation program:
For those concerned about spine or major joint disease, we offer comprehensive evaluation of the your risk of developing arthritis and its complications. Under the direction of a primary care physician, we focus on eliminating alcohol and drug use, increasing physical activity, and achieving normal body weight. Imaging may include MRI of the spine, hips, knees and other joints as needed.

Comprehensive Joint and spine evaluation program is available for $2900. It includes evaluation of the spine of the neck, lower back, both hips and both knees. Individualized packages of specific joints can be considered as well. You can email us at yourdoctor@mybodhi.com

For quick comparison, one hip or knee replacement cost approximately $40,000.

SPINE AND JOINTS MRI EVALUATION PACKAGE INCLUDES
MRI of the cervical  spine ( neck) – it provides a detailed evaluation of your vertebras, discs, spinal cord and nerves of the neck
MRI of the lumbar spine ( lower back) – it provides a detailed evaluation of your vertebras, discs, spinal cord and nerves of the lower back
MRI hips (both) – it provides a detailed evaluation of your the cartilages, bones and tendons of the hip joints
MRI knees  ( both) -it provides a detailed evaluation of your the cartilages, bones and tendons of the knee joints
Additional services:
Nutritional consultation for improvement of risk factors ( Telemedicine) 1 hour ( $150)
Physical therapy consultation for most beneficial exercises tailored to your findings ( Telemedicine) 30 min – ( $100)
additional MRIs of other joints can be included on approximate cost $500 per MRI

Comprehensive Joint and spine prevention program of 6-12 months:

As we know that these illnesses are more and more attributed not only to the genetics, but also to our lifestyle and how we approach each and every day, we know that preventing heart disease or cancer can help you live longer and hopefully happier. As a primary care physicians, we seen in daily practice people in their 70’s and 80’s who take no medications, have no high blood pressure, their hearts and minds as well as other organs continue to work well. Moreover, many also managed to live cancer free to older age. They are not an anomaly. When scientists study the long living subjects, they frequently learn that they keep being physically very active, life healthy and have humble yet good approach to life.

At this time we generally do not accept people under age 40. This may change as our program evolves.

We do accept people with chronic conditions or history of cancer who want to live better and improve their life.

Cost: $5000  for 6 months program.

$1000 is refundable at the end of the program if you achieve normal weight and reduce at least 1 of your risk factors.

The cost can be applied to your Health savings program. You can ask your HR department for any additional benefits your company can provide.
