We request ALL PARENTS and ADULTS with MILD respiratory symptoms to stay at home. It is the simplest way we can protect our community and limit any spread.
( Mild – you have mildly stuffy nose, mild sore throat, mild cough, but you don’t have fever or feel sick).
We urge that all PARENTS , GRANDPARENTS and Nannies Who recently traveled to or visited any events with known outbreak or have been in close contact with someone who is suspected or tested positive with Coronavirus Stay at home and AVOID coming to our office with Children. Self Quarantine is an important measure.
We urge and request that ALL ADULTS and children with respiratory symptoms to WEAR A Mask when coming to our office.
Adults: Effective 3/9 all adults with respiratory symptoms will be seen Only at 330 West 58th street location.
Children: Effective 3/9 all pediatric appointments for newborns and well child visits will be BEFORE 12:30 pm.
All sick visit appointments will be available only AFTER 1 PM.

Some definitions and guidelines:
Close contact is defined as:
a) being within approximately 6 feet (2 meters) of a COVID-19 case for a prolonged period; close contact can occur while caring for, living with, visiting, or sharing a healthcare waiting area or room with a COVID-19 case
– or –
b) having direct contact with infectious secretions of a COVID-19 case (e.g., being coughed on)
If such contact occurs while not wearing recommended personal protective equipment (PPE) (e.g., gowns, gloves, NIOSH-certified disposable N95 respirator, eye protection), criteria for PUI consideration are met.
