Rachel
Rachel is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Psychotherapist in the state of New York. Her undergraduate degree is in behavioral neuroscience and psychology. She received her Masters degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in NYC. Rachel is currently working towards obtaining hours for her clinical license (LCSW). Rachel specializes in positive psychotherapies, such as strength-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, etc. She works to discover internal strengths and motivations that help set up a more positive mindset. She also focuses on stress and anxiety reduction. Overall, Rachel dedicates her work to improving the quality of life for all individuals, and gaining new knowledge of human and mental health.

Rachel’s services include the evaluation and treatment of a number of different mental illnesses.

She works with a large range of issues that may negatively impact your everyday life, such as anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, life stressors, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, relationship and family issues, and more. Her caseload primarily consists of adults, but also sees children and adolescents. Currently, all of Rachel’s services are provided by telemedicine sessions, as in-person sessions are limited at this time. Sessions are generally 45 – 60 minutes dependent upon the patient’s treatment plans, goals, and needs. Accepted insurances are currently Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, EmblemHealth/GHI/HIP, Fidelis, Magnacare, Multiplan.
